IND vs ZIM: " It Won't Make Any Sense If They Bench Him" - Harbhajan Singh On Dinesh Karthik

Indian Cricket Team is riding high on confidence after winning 3 matches out of 4. The team now would be aiming to register a thumping victory against Zimbabwe on 6th November. The management would be hoping that Dinesh Karthik hits form as he has had a below-par tournament.
India would be well aware of the fact that they can’t take Zimbabwe lightly as the way they defeated Pakistan, an upset can’t be ruled out. India once again would be banking on Virat Kohli to play a significant knock as the right-handed batter is in the form of his life.
Harbhajan Singh on Dinesh Karthik
Harbhajan Singh was having an interaction with Aaj Tak and was asked about Dinesh Karthik. “Dinesh Karthik will get more chances because he is your finisher and he has scored runs for RCB at that position. So, it won’t make any sense if they bench him,” said Harbhajan Singh.
“When he walked off due to injury, I felt he would be replaced by Pant. But, if he is fit then definitely he will play because you have taken him to Australia for a specific role of a finisher, a spot where you won’t bat Pant,” he added.
Critical Match for India
The Men in Blue so far have been clinical and would be aware that momentum is everything. A win against Zimbabwe will take them to the top of Group 2. The management may play Chahal as he has been warming the benches as trying a new combination won’t be a bad option.
All eyes would be on KL Rahul as the right-handed batter looked ominous against Bangladesh. He has a knack for changing the dynamics of the game quickly. The team will have to make sure that they don’t fall like a pack of cards as Zimbabwe would be fearless.
