Bangladesh Cricket Team is all set to clash against India on 04th December (Sunday).  This ODI Series is not a part of the World Super League but in the context of the next year’s World Cup, both sides would be eyeing to find an ideal combination before the marquee event.

Indian Cricket Team’s senior batters are back in the mix as we can expect a fascinating series. The skipper Rohit Sharma would be roaring to make an impact after a forgettable T20 WC where he looked scratchy. The team would be well aware of the fact that they cannot take Bangladesh lightly as they have a surprise element in them.

Taskin Ahmed Injured

BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin was having an interaction with Cricbuzz and gave an update on Taskin’s injury. “Taskin is ruled out from the opening game of the ODIs as his back pain recurred. We will be seeing his progress before taking further decision regarding his participation.” said Minhajul Abedin.

Bangladesh has got some more injury headaches as skipper Tamim Iqbal has a groin injury. “We are waiting for Tamim’s scan report. He had a groin injury and physician asked him to have a scan to take a decision about his availability,” said Minhajul Abedin.

Huge Blow for Bangladesh

The speedster Taskin Ahmed has not only got express pace but has the knack of picking wickets at crucial junctions of the match. The 27-year-old fast bowler had taken 8 wickets in 5 matches of the T20 WC and had shown a lot of promise. The management would be bothered as finding a pacer of his caliber would be difficult.

Bangladesh would be aiming to put in a better performance as earlier against Zimbabwe they were outplayed in all the 3 facets of the game. The skipper Tamim Iqbal will have to make sure that he sticks to the crease and plays long and effective innings. It would be interesting to see how the Series pans out as India would be aiming to take revenge for the 2015 Series defeat.
