ENG vs IND: England Announce 14-Men Squad For 3-Match T20I Series Against India
England Cricket Board (ECB) has announced a 14-man squad for the upcoming 3-match T20I series against India, starting after the one-off Test between the two sides concludes.
Jos Buttler will be leading the side as a full-time captain for the first time, following Eoin Morgan‘s retirement from international cricket. Harry Brook and Richard Gleeson are the new faces in the white-ball team.
Tymal Mills, having recovered from his injury he suffered during the IPL 2022 season, also received a callup. Along with him, Sam Curran, who was on a long injury layoff, also comes back into the side as the all-rounder.
Ben Stokes has been rested for the series in order to manage his workload. He is leading the side in the one-off Test against India and was also the leader in their 3-0 whitewash over New Zealand.
