The BCCI announced a young squad for the T20I series against South Africa. The bowlers included in the squad are all T20 specialists having a lot of IPL experience under their belt. Bhuvi can end up taking the most wickets against Ireland. The swinging conditions in Dublin can help Bhuvi move the ball both ways and finish as the highest wicket-taker. The lead Indian pacer is also a part of the South Africa T20I series.

Deepak Chahar

The newly-wed Deepak Chahar can make the lady luck go his way and end up playing a crucial role for India in the series. After being ruled out of the IPL with a back injury, Chahar is working hard on his fitness and is expected to make a comeback in the T20I series against Ireland.

The selectors haven’t named him for the South Africa series as they are still monitoring his fitness. If he is included for the Ireland series, he can very well end up with the most wickets.

Harshal Patel

The wily bowler with his variations and change of pace can bamboozle the best of batsmen. After proving his worth in domestic cricket and in the IPL, Harshal made his T20I debut for India last year and since then has been a regular feature in the Indian white-ball side. The medium-pacer has all the tricks up his sleeve to end up as the highest wicket-taker in the series.

Kuldeep Yadav

The ‘KulCha’ pair should be included in the Ireland squad for the T20I series. Kuldeep has done enough in this IPL season to deserve a return call to the Indian white-balls setup. He played his last T20I for India against Sri Laka earlier this year.

Yuzvendra Chahal

Chahal ended IPL 2022 as the highest wicket-taker with 27 wickets. He also can end up with the most wickets against Ireland in the upcoming series. The dup of Kuldeep and Chahal bowling together will be the biggest positive from the series if it eventually happens.
