IND vs SA: India Definitely Missed Somebody Like Sir Ravindra Jadeja – Dale Steyn

Legendary Proteas pacer Dale Steyn has opined that the India National Cricket Team definitely missed spin bowling all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who got ruled out of the series due to an injury, in the three-match One Day International series against South Africa National Cricket Team.
KL Rahul-led India lost the recently concluded three-match One Day International series against Temba Bavuma-led South Africa by 0-3. India lost the first match by 31 runs, the second match by 7 wickets, and the third and final match by 4 runs.

Speaking on Star Sports, former South Africa speedster Steyn labelled Jadeja as a “wonderful cricketer” and said that he has the ability to control the game with his spin bowling and he can make brilliant contributions with the bat.
“They definitely missed somebody like Sir Ravi Jadeja. I just think he is a wonderful cricketer. He can control the game with his left-arm spin. He is brilliant and he can also bat”, said the 38-year-old.
India need somebody to back up Jasprit Bumrah – Dale Steyn
The 38-year-old further added that the Indian team have got some bowling issues and they need to find a bowler who could provide support to the ace pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Steyn also said that the pacer Mohammed Siraj is a promising talent.
“India’s got a bit of a bowling issue. They need somebody to back up Bumrah. They need someone who can bowl in a 140-145km per hour bracket. Shami is great. He had a long Test series. Siraj looks like a name for the future. I think he’s got a bit of a niggle”, said Steyn during the post-match show.
