India and South Africa will battle against each other in a forthcoming ODI series. The IND vs SA ODI series will consist of three matches. The first ODI match will take place on January 19 at Boland Park Stadium in Paarl. The second ODI will take place at the same venue on January 21. The third and final ODI will take place on January 23 in Cape Town. The Indian squad is led by KL Rahul in the ODI series while Temba Bavuma is the skipper of South Africa.

Sourav Ganguly grabs the 3rd post on this list. During an IND vs SA ODI match in October 2001, the former India skipper slammed a 127-run knock at The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. The left-handed batsman batted as an opener for the team.

India batted first and with Ganugly’s amazing stoke of 127, the team piled up 279-5 on the scoreboard. Ganguly played 126 balls for his knock and slammed 14 fours and 5 sixes during his innings. However, India lost the match in the end as South chased down the 280-run target by 6 wickets, with a 133-run knock by Gary Kirsten.

2. Sachin Tendulkar- 152 vs Namibia (Pietermaritzburg, 2003)

Sachin Tendulkar has slammed the 2nd best knock for India in ODIs while playing in South Africa. The batting legend slammed 152 runs in an ODI encounter against Namibia in February 2003, during ODI World Cup 2003. The match took place at City Oval Stadium in Pietermaritzburg.

The former right-handed batsman took 151 deliveries for his knock and shattered 18 boundaries. Posting 311-2 on the scoreboard, India defeated Namibia by 181 runs in the match. Sachin Tendulkar was awarded the man of the match award for his outstanding knock.

1. Virat Kohli- 160* vs South Africa (Cape Town, 2018)

Virat Kohli grabs the top spot on this list. During IND vs SA ODI match in 2018 at Newlands Cricket Stadium in Cape Town, the right-handed batsman slammed a marvellous knock of 160 runs. During his knock, Kohli slammed 12 boundaries and 2 sixes.
