WI vs IND: India’s Predicted Playing XI Against West Indies, 3rd ODI

India is set to face West Indies in the 3rd ODI of the ongoing series. WI vs IND 3rd ODI will take place on July 27 (Wednesday) at Queen’s Park Oval Stadium in Trinidad. India is led by Shikhar Dhawan in WI vs IND ODI series while Nicholas Pooran is the skipper of the West Indies.

India leads the series 2-0 and has already won the three-match series. India won the 1st ODI by 3 runs and the 2nd ODI by 2 wickets. Now, the  Indian team will aim for a clean sweep in the series. Ahead of WI vs IND 3rd ODI, here we talk about India’s predicted playing XI in the match.

Shikhar Dhawan is the skipper of India in WI vs IND ODI series and will lead the team in the final ODI as well. The left-handed batsman will be an opener for the team in the match. Dhawan failed to score big in the 2nd ODI. However, in the 1st ODI, Dhawan slammed a marvellous knock of 97 runs.

Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaikwad might be given a chance in WI vs IND 3rd ODI. Since India has already sealed the series, the players who warmed the bench in the first two games will be given a chance. The right-handed batsman has not played any ODI so far. In 9 T20I games, he has scored 135 runs.

Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer might be the no.3 batsman for India in WI vs IND 3rd ODI. The right-handed batsman smacked a half-century in both the games. He scored 64 runs in the 1st ODI and 63 runs in the 2nd ODI. Iyer will look for another fabulous knock in the 3rd ODI.

Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav might be a middle-order batter for the team. Yadav is a powerful middle-order batsman but has failed in the two games so far. He scored 13 runs in the 1st ODI and 9 runs in the 2nd ODI. Now, he will seek to come up with a big knock in the final ODI.

Ishan Kishan (WK)

Ishan Kishan might take up the wicketkeeper’s spot in the 3rd ODI. Hence, Sanju Samson might be rested. Kishan warmed the bench in the first two games. The left-handed batsman has played 3 ODI games so far and scored 88 runs with 1 fifty. He will look for a big knock if he gets a chance in the 3rd ODI.

Deepak Hooda

Deepak Hooda might be another middle-order batsman for the team in WI vs IND 3rd ODI. The right-handed batsman 27 runs in the 1st ODI and 33 runs in the 2nd ODI. Hooda started well but failed to convert his knock into a big score. Hooda will look to score more runs in the final game of the series.

Axar Patel might be an all-rounder for the team in WI vs IND 3rd ODI. The left-handed batsman played a fabulous knock in the previous game.
