DC vs RR: Watch - Jos Buttler Smashes Monstrous 107m Six Off Shardul Thakur

Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Jos Buttler continued his merry ways in the IPL 2022 season as he put on another batting masterclass against the Delhi Capitals (DC)
at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday.

After being put in to bat first, Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal provided another brisk start in the powerplay. Buttler, who holds the orange cap by a considerable margin, scored two boundaries in the first over signaling his intent.

Padikkal also joined in on the fun soon after, smashing three consecutive boundaries off Mustafizur Rahman. The destruction reached new levels when Buttler hit a monstrous six off Shardul Thakur.

Thakur was brought into the attack after bowling a maiden over in the powerplay but even he wasn’t spared. The 29-year-old bowled a length ball which Buttler got hold off and sent into the second tier at deep mid-wicket. Rishabh Pant and Karun Nair were seen nodding their heads and having a wry smile on their faces, appreciating Buttler’s power.
