DC vs RR: Watch - Khaleel Ahmed Traps Devdutt Paddikal, Sends Him Back For 54

Delhi Capitals finally got their first wicket of the night against Rajasthan Royals when in the 16th over of the match Khaleel Ahmed trapped Devdutt Paddikal in front of the wicket.
Paddikal scored his first fifty of the season contributing 54 runs in an opening stand of 155 with Jos Buttler.

Earlier in the day Rishabh Pant won the toss and chose to field first. Delhi starred well as they didn’t let RR score freely in the first three overs but after the 3rd overall hell broke loose as Jos Buttler and Devdutt Paddikal came into their own. Paddikal has been struggling for runs in the season as apart from a 40 odd he made in the middle order he did not look in the best of touches in earlier games.
Mustafizur Rahman, Khaleel Ahmed, Kuldeep Yadav, Lalit Yadav no one was spared.
Just before Buttler scored his 3rd century of the season, Khaleel Ahmed bowled a sheering yorker to Devdutt Paddikal to account for his wicket.
The on-field decision was not out but DC reviewed it successfully to get their first breakthrough.
Rajasthan Royals have won 4 games in the season, while DC have won 3 games, both teams are looking for wins to go further up in the points table.
Earlier in the day, it was revealed that DC’s head coach Ricky Ponting would not be part of the game as one of his members had tested positive and he is in isolation.
