IPL 2022 Auction: 5 Overseas Players At INR 2 Crores Base Price Who Might Go Unsold
James Vince
The England opener is a reputed T20 freelancer having played across various T20 leagues in the world. He is yet to make his debut in the IPL which might remain a distant dream. With several reputed and proven openers available, the franchises might not be interested in investing in him keeping in mind that he has no experience of playing in the IPL and Indian conditions.

Saqib Mahmood
The England pacer is a promising prospect in international cricket with his pace. However, he has no experience in playing in the IPL. He enrolled himself in the 2 crore category but might not eventually end up bagging his maiden IPL contract. He has played seven ODIs and 12 T20Is in his career so far for England.
Ashton Agar
Agar with all his all-round skills might find it difficult to find a bidder. Like Vince and Mahmood, he too has no experience of playing in the IPL which might go against him at the IPL 2022 mega auctions. Having made his international debut way back in 2013 for Australia, he still is not a regular member of the Australian cricket team.
David Willey
The swing bowler from England played a season with Chennai Super Kings but was mostly on the sidelines. With many reputed bowlers enrolling themselves in the auction in the 2 crore category, Willey might find it difficult to break through them. He played only three games for CSK in 2018.
Craig Overton
Overton is another England bowler who has enrolled himself in the 2 crore category. Overton’s height is his biggest plus as a bowler but not enough to attract bidders. Like the previous names, his lack of experience of playing in Indian conditions might make him not a favourable option for the bidders.
