Rashid Khan is one of the most wanted spinners around franchise T20 leagues in world cricket. Gujarat Titans picked him as one of their three draft picks alongside Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill ahead of IPL 2022. He has repaid the faith by taking 18 wickets for them in the season so far.

Rashid will be key as Gujarat takes on Rajasthan Royals in the final on May 29 in Ahmedabad. During this IPL season, he interacted with a few young Indian spinners in the IPL. He is young himself but is seen as one of the modern legends of T20 cricket.

Talking to Cricket.com, Rashid spoke about his interactions with Ravi Bishnoi and how the young 21-year-old can be a big star for India in the future.

“Bishnoi is a young talent. I’ve talked to him quite a few times. In the upcoming years, he will be a big star for India. If he trusts his skills and continues to back them up, he will definitely be a big bowler for India,” Rashid told cricket.com.

He then spoke about Yuzvendra Chahal who is among the best Indian spinners both in the IPL and international cricket.

“Definitely, the way he performed for RCB and India, he is the best spinner. He bowled the tough overs for India and RCB, which is very difficult. He has played most of the matches in Bangalore, which is a smaller ground, and he showed his skills brilliantly,” said Rashid on Chahal.

Both the spinners will be playing in tonight’s final in Ahmedabad. Chahal is second in the Purple Cap race with 26 wickets in the season so far. He is joint second with Waninu Hasaranga who is topping the list courtesy of a better average. Chahal will be looking to overtake him by taking a few wickets in the game.
