IPL 2022: Rishabh Pant Is Very Hilarious Behind The Stumps: Axar Patel

IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals left-arm orthodox spinner Axar Patel has revealed on a YouTube show that Rishabh Pant is very hilarious behind the stumps.
Axar has been playing for India for around 8 years now having made his debut way back in 2014. Axar made his Test cricket debut against England last year. Both Axar and Pant have been part of the Indian side and Delhi Capitals side for some time now.
He Says He Makes All Those Noises Because He Gets Bored: Axar Patel
Axar Patel joined DC in 2018 after the mega auctions and has since been a part of the franchise since then. He was retained by the franchise ahead of the mega auctions in 2022. Pant is his captain at DC.
Axar in an episode on ‘Breakfast With Champions’ hosted by Gaurav Kapur revealed that Pant is very hilarious behind the stumps.
Everybody knows Pant is a very chirpy character behind the stumps. A lot of his video footage has gone viral where he seems to have said something totally hilarious. Not only Pant’s stock as a cricketer has risen in Indian cricket, everyone really waits for what he might come up with behind the stumps.
“His chatters are still nice, but the noises he (Rishabh Pant) makes,” Axar said while laughing. “I tell him ‘What are you Doing.’ And Rishabh says ‘Need some fun around, or I was getting bored otherwise,” said Axar on the show.
“He’ll randomly ask the fielder at point, ‘Bro how’s it going?’. The slip fielders are always ready, he can do anything all of a sudden. He’ll throw his gloves to the side, he’ll do anything. The person next to him is always alert. When Virat [Kohli] bhai is there then he controls himself, but if it’s Puji bhai [Cheteshwar Pujara], Mayank [Agarwal] or KL [Rahul], then you just can’t hold him back,” Axar further added.
Pant is currently leading Delhi Capitals in the IPL who have won 2 games and lost 2.
