Between Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal was questioned who he like to bowl with the most. Chahal decided on Kuldeep after some contemplation and explained his decision.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) player Yuzvendra Chahal will be hoping to make Team India’s team for the T20 World Cup, which begins in October this year.

Yuzvendra Chahal was signed by the Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2022 after being dropped by the Royal Challengers Bangalore. So far, the transfer has paid off handsomely, as he has played up to the standards of the first edition’s victors and has been their most reliable player with the ball in hand.

While Chahal has managed to confound the best in the biz this campaign, including a match-winning hat-trick and a five-wicket haul against the KKR last month, the Haryana cricketer has revealed who he prefers to play alongside.

He went after veteran  Ravichandran Ashwin and long-time teammate and buddy Kuldeep Yadav, both spin bowling partners.

The bowler presently leads the Purple Cap race in the next Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season, with 24 wickets in 13 games, and RR is also closing in on playoff qualification.

Yuzvendra Chahal discusses partnering with Ashwin and Kuldeep:

The 31-year-old was questioned on ESPNcricinfo which of Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin he enjoyed bowling with the most. Chahal chose Kuldeep after some consideration and explained his decision.

“Kuldeep because we’ve played so many matches together and I’ve developed a connection with him where we can connect without saying anything,” he explained.

“That’s the kind of relationship I have with him,” he continued.

Kuldeep has also been in fantastic form this season, taking 18 wickets in 12 games for the Delhi Capitals (DC) in IPL 2022.

Last year, Chahal and Kuldeep were both left out of India’s T20 World Cup team, with Ashwin being chosen ahead of them.
