Mumbai Indians (MI) 19-year-old batter, Dewald Brevis, unleashed carnage upon Punjab Kings (PBKS) leg-spinner, Rahul Chahar, smashing 28 runs off a single over during the run chase on Wednesday.

PBKS had batted first and put up 198 on the board for MI to chase. Rohit Sharma started well, scoring a brisk 17-ball 28 with two massive sixes before being dismissed by Kagiso Rabada.

Ishan Kishan fell in the very next over before Brevis joined hands with Tilak Varma. The two teenagers began a stunning counter-attack, with Chahar bearing the brunt of their wrath.

He was just brought into the attack when Brevis decided to take the leggie on. He signaled his intentions by smashing a four down the ground before launching four massive sixes, all on the leg side.

The over yielded a whopping 29 runs in total, 28 coming off Brevis’ bat. Already known as ‘Baby AB’, Brevis further enhanced his reputation with a display of flawless power-hitting.
