PBKS vs DC: Watch - Rishabh Pant Attempts Wild Slog But Ends Up Getting Stumped By Jitesh Sharma Off Liam Livingstone
Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper Rishabh Pant showed no signs of patience in a crucial match for his side against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the DY Patil Stadium on Monday.
DC lost David Warner on the first delivery of the innings but Mitchell Marsh and Sarfaraz Khan rebuilt with a quickfire 51-run partnership which ended when the latter fell.
Lalit Yadav was dismissed soon after but it was Pant’s wicket that would have left Ricky Ponting red-faced. After scoring a six off his second delivery against Liam Livingstone, Pant once again attempted a slog.
He danced down the track but Livingstone saw it coming and threw in a faster delivery and Pant was caught in no man’s land. The wicket-keeper Jitesh Sharma had no qualms in removing the bails and ending Pant’s knock.
