Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders Head To Head Records, IPL 2022, Match 06, RCB vs KKR. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders match has always been one of the most closely contested rivalries in IPL history.
It was these two teams who were part of the inaugural IPL match in 2008 at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Brendon McCullum scored the only ton of KKR so far in that match as his unbeaten 158 saw KKR defeating RCB by a big margin of 140 runs.
Ever since 2008, the two sides have met each other on 30 occasions in the IPL. Among the two, Kolkata has had the upper hand with 17 wins while RCB has come up trumps 13 times in the intense battle of two powerhouses in the IPL.
