Anuj Rawat

Rawat has been playing good cameos and helping his team get good starts alongside du Plessis. His rope would be similar in the lineup and he is expected to retain his place in the playing XI.
Virat Kohli

Kohli is yet to score his maiden fifty of this IPL season so far. He has got starts but then has been dismissed. AGainst RR, he was run out for 5 courtesy of a mix up with David Willey at the other end. He has a good record against Mumbai Indians and would like to build on that.
Glenn Maxwell

Maxwell will return to playing XI after missing first three games for RCB. He recently got married to his long-time girlfriend and is back for RCB duties. His return will definitely bolster the RCB middle-order and alongside Dinesh Karthik, they can share the job of finishing games off for his side.
Dinesh Karthik

Karthik has acred the finisher’s role perfectly so far. He will continue to keep his form going for his side. Already there are talks of the team management thinking about keeping Karthik in their mind for the T20 World Cup later this year in Australia given the form he is showing in this IPL.
David Willey

Willey who was batting in the middle-order can now slot in a bit later in the order at six. He can also tonk the ball as he has shown in the few cameos that he has played. Willey at six followed by Harshal Patel at seven stretches RCB’s batting line-up a bit more.
Harshal Patel

Harshal Patel picked up a hat-trick against Mumbai Indians in the UAE leg of IPL 2021. Thus he will have good memories of facing a side against who he has a good record in the past. So far this season, he has picked up four wickets in three games.
Wanindu Hasaranga

Hasarnga has spun his magic around a few batsmen in this IPL so far. Playing his first full season for RCB, he has picked up six wickets in three games including a four-fer against KKR in his matchwinning spell. He will have a role to play against a depleted Mumbai side.
Shahbaz Ahmed

The Bengal cricketer has also shown his prowess with the bat as he was with Karthik when the duo finished the game against RR. He has also bowled well in the season so far and will retain his place in the XI.
Mohammed Siraj

Siraj is one of the three pacers who will feature in this line-up for RCB. He was retained by the franchise for seven crores ahead of the mega auction. So far this season, he has got three wickets from three matches.
Akash Deep

Akash Deep will conclude Royal Challengers Bangalore’s strongest looking playing XI that will take the field against Mumbai Indians on April 9. So far, he has grabbed the eyeballs with his extra pace which has surprised many batsmen.
