The IPL fans are very unfortunate as the tournament has been suspended at the midway by the BCCI after players inside bio-bubble started to test positive for Covid-19. The situation in India is worse at the moment, and IPL does not serve any needs at the moment with the people losing their loved ones.

It was an expected decision from the BCCI after a lot of players and support staff started to test positive and the right call has been made too. With all that is happening around the country, it is difficult to keep the players secure inside the bio bubble, and is it is a huge risk for the overseas players opting to stay in the country. Here are the 5 most exciting games in IPL 2021.

5. PBKS vs RR, Match 4

Match 4 of the IPL 2021 between the Punjab Kings and the Rajasthan Royals turned out to be an exciting clash as the match went all the way into the wire until the last ball at the Wankhede Stadium. Rajasthan Royals won the toss and sent Punjab into bat which resulted in a huge score of 221 posted by KL Rahul’s men. Rahul was the star of the show with 91 off just 50 balls while Hooda and Gayle propelled the score with impactful contributions of 64 and 40 respectively.

In reply, Rajasthan lost early wickets and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Sanju Samson was dropped early and he made the most out of it by scoring a scintillating century. From nowhere, he took the Royals to the jaws of victory alongside Shivam Dube and Riyan Parag. But in the end, the Royals needed 5 off the last ball and Samson was dismissed off the last delivery for a brilliant knock of 119 in 63 balls in his captaincy debut. Punjab won the game by 4 runs while Samson won the hearts for his brave knock.

4. KKR vs CSK, Match 15

The 15th game in IPL 2021 between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Chennai Super Kings was a high-scoring thriller which some of the best ball-striking at the Wankhede Stadium. Chennai who was sent into bat by KKR managed to post 220 on the board and Faf Du Plessis was the top scorer with an unbeaten 95 off just 60 balls alongside contributions from Gaikwad, Moeen Ali, Dhoni, and Jadeja.

In reply, KKR were struggling at 31 runs for 5 wickets at the 6th over mark from which Andre Russell and Dinesh Karthik started to unleash the beast mode. Russell scored 54 off just 22 balls with six sixes and when he was dismissed, CSK thought it was the game. But Dinesh Karthik kept going and scored 40 off 24 balls to be dismissed then. Pat Cummins was a surprise package as he came to the party scoring 66 off 34 balls. In the end, KKR needed 20 off the last over, and Prasidh Krishna was run out and Cummins was left with no partners to lose by 18 runs.

3. DC vs RCB, Match 22

The 22nd game in IPL 2021 between the Delhi Capitals and the Royal Challengers Bangalore was a nail-biting contest and there was nothing much to differentiate between both teams. RCB was sent into bat at first and they scored 171 with AB Devilliers scoring 75 off just 42 balls with five sixes.

In reply, Delhi did not start well, but Rishabh Pant and Marcus Stoinis got the much-needed momentum with a good partnership and it followed with Hemtyer after Stoinis was dismissed. Hetmyer brought Delhi into the game from nowhere with 53 off just 25 balls and Delhi needed 13 off the last over. Mohammed Siraj proved to be the hero of the game for RCB as he gave away just 11 runs and Delhi lost the game by 1 run in the end.

2. DC vs SRH, Match 20

The 20th Match in IPL 2021 between the Delhi Capitals and the Sunrisers Hyderabad was another thrilling content that went into the Super over to decide the winner. Delhi Capitals posted 159 batting first and Sunrisers made a mess out of the chase after needing just 4 runs in 3 balls in the last over.

Rabada bowled the last over and managed to take Delhi to the super over contest despite Kane Williamson’s brilliance. Axar Patel bowled the super over for Delhi and gave just 7 runs while Rishabh Pant and Shikhar Dhawan chased away the target in Rashid Khan’s over comfortably. Sunrisers despite making the tough inroads could not capitalize and lost two important points.

1. CSK vs MI, Match 27

Probably, the best out of the lot this year has to be the 27th game in IPL 2021 between the Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings in Delhi. It was a batting paradise and CSK sent into bat first, scored a mammoth 218 on the board with tremendous striking from former Mumbai Indians player Ambati Rayudu at the end of the innings.

Mumbai in reply started steadily and lost three wickets at the end of the 10th over with just 81 on the board. Out came Kieron Pollard in devastating form and pummelled the CSK bowlers to all ends scoring 87 not out of just 34 balls. With cameos from Krunal Pandya and Hardik Pandya, Mumbai pulled off one of the stunning chases in the tournament history and Pollard showed why he is one of the best finishers in the world.
