Kolkata Knight Riders are set to face Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021 final. The ultimate clash of the tournament will take place tonight (October 15) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. KKR made a fabulous comeback in the second half of the tournament to reach the final.
KKR held the 7th spot in the points table after the first leg. With a fabulous performance in the UAE leg, they earned a place in the playoffs. Later, the Eoin Morgan-led side defeated RCB in Eliminator game and then outplayed DC in Qualifier 2 to reach the final. 3. Venkatesh Iyer

Venkatesh Iyer is definitely one youngster from KKR who gained a lot of spotlight in the tournament. Iyer warmed the bench during the 1st leg. However, the coach decided to introduce him in the UAE leg.
The 26-year-old smacked 320 runs in 9 games at an average of 40. He has also smacked 3 half-centuries, more than any other KKR player. As an opener, he also built few match-winning opening partnerships with Shubman Gill.

2. Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill is another young player from KKR who stole the spotlight in IPL 2021. Especially during the UAE leg, Gill hit few match-winning knocks for the team. So far in 16 matches, the 22-year-old has mustered 427 runs at an average of 26.68. He is also the highest run-getter for the team and has also hit 2 half-centuries.

1. Shivam Mavi

Shivam Mavi is another youngster from KKR who came to the limelight in IPL 2021. The right-arm pacer was inducted into the playing XI instead of Prasidh Krishna. In 8 games, the 22-year-old pacer picked 10 wickets at an average of 20.10. He also bowled at a very good economy of 7.13 and also picked a 4-wicket haul in one game.
