IPL 2021: KKR vs RCB- Prediction, Who Will Win The Match Between Kolkata Knight Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore? Kolkata Knight Riders will resume their IPL 2021 campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium. Kolkata Knight Riders have had a forgettable season thus far, having managed to win only 2 games out of seven.

At the end of the India leg of the tournament, Kolkata Knight Riders found themselves at second from the bottom of the points table. Every match from here on is a must-win from them. Lacklustre performances from the batting unit didn’t allow them to dominate the season.

Kolkata Knight Riders put faith in their top three (Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana and Rahul Tripathi) by giving them a longer run. However, they continued to exhibit disappointing numbers in the tournament. The likes of Eoin Morgan and Dinesh Karthik haven’t impressed either.

Pat Cummins have made himself unavailable for the second leg which has come as a big blow for them. They have roped in Tim Southee as his replacement. Kolkata Knight Riders played their last game against Delhi Capitals. Shubman Gill and Andre Russell’s contribution with the bat helped them post 154 runs in the first innings. Delhi Capitals, however, chased down the target in just 16.3 overs.

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore are very much in contention for making it into the playoffs. In 7 matches, they have managed to win 5 games and thus find themselves at third on the points table.

Royal Challengers Bangalore began their campaign with five consecutive wins until CSK eventually broke their winning streak. Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers and Harshal Patel have contributed vastly to their wins. Glenn Maxwell leads the run-charts for RCB with 223 runs in 7 matches at a strike rate of close to 150.

AB de Villiers scored runs heavily in the death overs and played an influential role with the bat in the RCB’s victories in the initial matches. Besides, Harshal Patel has been a revelation for them this season. In 7 games, he picked 17 wickets for the team and is currently the highest wicket-taker in the tournament.

Ahead of the UAE leg of the tournament, all three are going to be key to RCB’s fortunes.
