IPL 2021: PBKS vs RR- Weather Forecast And Pitch Report Of Dubai Cricket Stadium. Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will square up against each other in the 32nd match of IPL 2021 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. Both teams will play their first game of the second leg of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League.

The last time Rajasthan and Punjab Kings visited UAE in 2020, they finished at eighth and sixth position respectively. Both teams don’t have a great record in UAE and would be wary of that. They would try not to do the mistakes they did last year in the United Arab Emirates.

Rajasthan Royals blew hot and cold in the India leg of IPL 2021. They managed to win 3 matches out of seven. Thanks to those three wins, they currently find themselves at number five position on the points table.

They haven’t been consistent with their performances but still has a chance of making it into the playoffs. Sanju Samson has been their scorer in chief this season. Unlike previous years, he has been consistent with his performances. In 7 matches, he has managed to score 277 runs at an average of 46.17.

South African all-rounder, Chris Morris has lived up to his billing as he has contributed significantly with both bat and ball. Morris is currently the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 14 wickets in 7 matches.

Rajasthan Royals would have performed a lot better had Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer were present in the side. Both were ruled out of the first leg of the season and will continue to be unavailable for the franchise. Ahead of the second leg of the tournament, they were dealt with another blow as Jos Butler also opted due to personal reasons.

Nevertheless, the Royals have made some notable inclusions, namely Glenn Phillips, Evin Lewis, Tabraiz Shamsi and Oshane Thomas. All four are solid replacements, keeping in mind their recent form.

Full Squad:

Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag, Shreyas Gopal, Rahul Tewatia, Mahipal Lomror, Kartik Tyagi, Jaydev Unadkat, Mayank Markande, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Anuj Rawat, David Miller, Manan Vohra, Shivam Dube, Chris Morris, Mustafizur Rahim, Chetan Sakariya, K.C. Cariappa, Kuldip Yadav, Liam Livingstone, Akash Singh, Glenn Phillips, Tabraiz Shamsi, Oshane Thomas, Evin Lewis.

On the other hand, Punjab Kings have won 3 matches in 8 matches in the India leg of the tournament. They are languishing at the sixth position on the points table. With only six games left for them this season, the margin for error is very less. They should try and win every game from here but, as of now, should only focus on the one against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday.

KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal have been the standout batsmen for them. The fans would be hoping that the likes of Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram also come good in the remaining matches. Mohammad Shami was the highest wicket-taker for them during the India leg of the tournament.

He has 8 wickets in 8 matches at an average of close to 30. For Punjab to turn its fortunes of around, Shami should lead from the front. Ravi Bishnoi gave away runs less than 7 an over and took 4 wickets in 4 matches. KL Rahul and Co. should look to play him more as he could become the trump card for them. Besides, the spin bowling department also has the likes of Murugan Ashwin and Adil Rashid in their ranks.

Full Squad:

KL Rahul (Captain), Chris Gayle, Mayank Agarwal, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Mandeep Singh, Sarfaraz Khan, Deepak Hooda, Prabhsimran Singh, Mohammed Shami, Chris Jordan, Darshan Nalkande, Ravi Bishnoi, Murugan Ashwin, Arshdeep Singh, Harpreet Brar, Ishan Porel, Moises Henriques, Shahrukh Khan, Pratyush Singh, Jalaj Saxena, Nathan Ellis, Adil Rashid, Aiden Markram

The 32nd match of the IPL 2021 will be played between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The 30th match between CSK and MI was also played at the same venue. It was a two-paced wicket. The ball wasn’t coming onto the bat nicely as it was much on the slower side.

Batting isn’t as easy as it seems. Also, with bigger boundaries, you won’t get to see a lot of sixes. CSK posted 156 runs in the first innings against MI on Sunday, largely due to a sensational 88-run knock from Ruturaj Gaekwad. Mumbai Indians, in reply, scored 136 runs. Having said that, there wasn’t a lot of movement in the air or off the surface for fast bowlers. The team winning the toss is likely to bat first.

Average 1st Inns scores 144
Average 2nd Inns scores 122

Dubai is expected to be hot and humid. The conditions here should suggest that there is no possibility of rain. One could expect a good game of cricket. The average temperature will hover around 42-degree Celsius.
