IPL 2021: Well Done Boys, All Were So Good To Watch - Shah Rukh Khan Delighted After Kolkata Knight Riders Register 100th Win

Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood megastar and the co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, expressed his happiness on his team registering their 100th victory in the Indian Premier League on Sunday.
The Eoin Morgan led-outfit defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in a close encounter by 10 runs in Chennai to achieve this record, and also open their account in IPL 2021 after failing to qualify for the playoffs for the last couple of season.
The Kolkata Knight Riders become the third team to complete a century of wins in the cash-rich league. They follow Mumbai Indians (120) who have the most wins in the history of the competition, and the Chennai Super Kings (106).

The Kolkata Knight Riders are also the third-most successful side in the tournament, in terms of trophies. Former captain, Gautam Gambhir led Shahrukh Khan’s team to 2-titles in 2012 and 2014 – they are again behind Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai’s 5 titles, and 3 IPL titles belong to MS Dhoni and his Yellow Army.
Good to see Harbhajan Singh, even if briefly: Shah Rukh Khan lauds team effort from Kolkata Knight Riders
Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to congratulate his side for their brilliant victory against David Warner’s side. He particularly mentioned his happiness at watching veteran off-spinner, Harbhajan Singh, play in his side.
Harbhajan, who was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the February auction, played ahead of Kuldeep Yadav, specifically to bowl to SRH captain, David Warner – the off-spinner almost had the left-hander if not for the catch dropped by Pat Cummins.
“Good to hav our 100th IPL match win. Well done boys…@KKRiders @prasidh43 @DineshKarthik @NitishRana_27 #Rahul @Russell12A @harbhajan_singh ( good to see u even if briefly ) @Sah75official @patcummins30 actually all were so good to watch,” the ‘King of Bollywood’ tweeted.

Nitish Rana and Rahul Tripathi batted with alacrity on a challenging surface against a high-quality Hyderabad bowling attack to notch up their respective fifties before Dinesh Karthik’s blitz in the last couple of over to propel the score to an above-par 187.
In reply, SRH too had batters scoring runs – Jonny Bairstow, and Manish Pandey made half-centuries, and Abdul Samad matched close to Karthik’s effort.
However, both Bairstow and Pandey could be criticized for being slower – the latter in particular who hit just a single six in the last 5 overs – as SRH fell short by 10 runs. Kolkata Knight Riders take on rivals Mumbai Indians on Tuesday in a mouth-watering clash.
