The Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has been one of the standout bowlers for the side in the last two years, and he has signed to play for Middlesex in the 2022 season. Shaheen Afridi has already played in the County Championship, and he represented Hampshire in the 2021 season.

Shaheen Afridi has played 19 Tests, 28 ODIs, and 30 T20I games for Pakistan so far, and he has an impressive bowling average of under 28 in all three formats. He takes the new ball usually and uses his height to get the pace and bounce from the pitch. He picked up a six-wicket haul in the previous season playing against Middlesex, and he is definitely among the best.
