'This Means The World To Me Right Now': Wriddhiman Saha's Daughter Draws An Adorable Sketch As He Recovers From COVID-19

India and SunRisers Hyderabad keeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha was one of the players to become the victim of the vicious COVID-19’s second wave. Wriddhiman Saha’s news of testing positive for COVID-19 emerged on Tuesday and the BCCI took the harsh call of postponing the IPL 2021 immediately. Meanwhile, his daughter has sketched an adorable photo for him as Saha continues to recover from the disease.

Wriddhiman Saha took to his Twitter handle and posted a picture of his daughter’s sketch that depicted a diagram of the virus and a superman. According to his daughter, her dad is superman and holds the belief he is strong enough to beat the disease. He remarked on Twitter that the picture means the world to him and thanked everyone for their best wishes. The veteran keeper-batsman is in quarantine at the moment, as is the likes of Amit Mishra, Varun Chakravarthy, Sandeep Warrier, and Michael Hussey recuperating from the virus.

Saha, a Test specialist, performed admirably well last year for the SunRisers Hyderabad while opening the innings. The right-handed batsman made 214 runs in four innings with two fifties, keeping a strike rate of 139.87. Nevertheless, the 37-year old struggled this year at the top as he managed only eight runs in two matches and Jonny Bairstow soon replaced him. As for Hyderabad’s performance, they languished at the bottom of the table with one victory from their seven games until the competition’s suspension. Their latest match saw David Warner being stripped of captaincy, with Kane Williamson leading the side. However, it made no difference to their fortunes.
