He bowls in the powerplay, middle overs and also in the death overs. Arshdeep Singh has always come good in pressure situations and picked wickets for the team.

In the recent high scoring encounter against Rajasthan Royals, he picked his maiden five wicket-haul in IPL and helped Punjab restrict RR to 185 in the first innings.
