IPL 2021: Watch - Deepak Chahar Proposes To His Girlfriend In Stadium After CSK vs PBKS Match In Dubai

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bowler Deepak Chahar proposed to his girlfriend after the conclusion of their match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Thursday. CSK was blown away by a rampant KL Rahul but the loss didn’t spoil Chahar’s moment of joy in the stands.

Chahar went to the stands where his girlfriend was seated and got down on one knee to propose to her. She gleefully accepted and the couple hugged each other. They soon shared rings with wide smiles on their faces.

“We need to tune up slightly as to what needs to be done” – MS Dhoni after the defeat

Although the defeat is unlikely to have a bearing on CSK’s final position on the points table, MS Dhoni was quite disappointed as it was the franchise’s third loss in a row. Going into the playoffs, certain chinks in CSK’s armory have been exposed.

“Motivation is not a factor, the guys are highly motivated and maybe we need to tune up slightly as to what needs to be done and also a few tosses if they had gone our way. It would have looked worse winning toss and batting on that wicket and I felt the wicket changed a bit, it was a bit challenging but it was a good wicket,” Dhoni said.

KL Rahul scored a blistering 98* off 42 balls to seal the 6-wicket victory for Punjab. CSK remains firm in second place on the table and is set to finish there. As for Punjab, they have to await the results of KKR vs RR and MI vs SRH.
