Rajasthan Royals takes on Delhi Capitals in match 9 of IPL 2024 in Jaipur. This is the second home game for the Royals and the second away game on the trot for the Capitals.

Both teams made opposite starts to the tournament. While the Royals defeated Lucknow Super Giants, the Capitals lost to the Punjab Kings.

The Royals got their core of the side well retained and the impact of that was visible in the very first game. Sanju Samson got the runs up at the top with the bat and the likes of Trent Boult, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Yuzvendra Chahal ensured that LSG could not surpass the total.

The Royals along with Chennai Super Kings are among the two teams who have a good record at home in the IPL. They started on a winning note and would like to continue their winning run at home.
