Star Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has said that he can’t complain about his workload as the Indian team management has provided him with the much-needed rest from the two-match Test series against New Zealand which will begin from Thursday.
After the completion of the T20 Internationals series against New Zealand tonight at Eden Gardens, India will lock horns with New Zealand in the two-Test match series. The first Test will begin at Green Park in Kanpur on November 25 and the second Test will be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from December 3.

Meanwhile, India have given Rishabh Pant rest from the series and have named Wriddhiman Saha and Srikar Bharat as two wicketkeepers.

Speaking to host broadcasters ahead of the third T20I game against New Zealand Rishabh Pant told that everyone in the team is finding ways to make improvements after the poor performance in the T20 World Cup 2021.

He added that he is ready to play any role the team demands and he always dreamt to win the matches for India and is happy to do that in the first two games of the series.
“After the T20 World Cup, everyone’s thinking that in what areas we can improve. As a group, we have been talking about that a lot. We had to improve in the middle overs. We have ticked a few boxes. It’s going really well for us. As a kid, I always dreamt of winning matches for India in any situation. I am ready to do whatever the team needs me to do. I am happy to finish the match,” Pant told host broadcaster Star Sports before the third T20I.
“I can’t be complaining about the workload but the team management has given me offs from the next two Test matches. Hopefully, I can recover well and do well in South Africa,” he added.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and co. successfully managed to win the first two games of the series to clinch the series victory. Also, India won the toss in the third T20I, opted to bat first and openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan provided an excellent start to the team.
