He tied the knot with Jessica Taylor, who is a singer and model. They have a son Dylan and a daughter Rosie.
Early and Domestic Career
Kevin Pietersen underwent cricket coaching in childhood with coach Clive Rice. His idols were former South Africa player Hansie Cronje, and former West Indies stalwarts Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh. He broke into the domestic circuit for Nottinghamshire in 2001 and represented the side till 2004.
International Career
In November 2004, Kevin Pietersen made his international debut for England with an ODI against Zimbabwe. He went on to play till January 2014 with his last Test match against Australia in Sydney.
During his career, he played 104 Tests, 136 ODIs, and 37 T20Is. He shattered over 8000 runs in Tests, 4400 runs in ODIs, and 1100 runs in T20Is. He also shattered 23 tons in the longest format and 9 in the 50-over format. He scored 7 fifties in 37 T20Is.
Franchise Career
Kevin Pietersen was part of the Indian Premier League and played a total of 36 matches. He was part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in his first three seasons (2009 to 2010), Delhi Capitals from 2012 to 2014.
The right-handed batsman was also a member of Rising Pune Supergiants in IPL 2016. He represented teams like Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League and Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League.
