Siechem Madurai Panthers Cricket Team (2025)

Siechem Madurai Panthers are one of the eight teams participating in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). The team is led by NS Chaturved and has won the tournament once so far. The Madurai Panthers are owned by Siechem Technologies. 

Siechem Madurai Panthers - Season-wise performance:

Siechem Madurai Panthers had a terrible campaign in the inaugural season of the TNPL in 2016. They could not win a single match and finished at the bottom of the points table with 7 losses.

For the second season in a row, Madurai Panthers failed to win a single game and finished at the bottom of the points table. They lost 6 of their 7 league games while one match ended in a no result.

After the disastrous campaigns in the first two seasons, Madurai Panthers went on to win the title in the third TNPL season. The Panthers finished the league stage at the second spot in the points table. They lost the first qualifier against Dindigul Dragons before beating Lyca Kovai Kings in the second qualifier to storm into the final. In the final, they beat the Dragons by 7 wickets to clinch their maiden title.

Madurai Panthers qualified for the playoffs in 2019 but could not defend their title. After finishing third in the points table, they qualified for the playoffs. Their campaign ended with a defeat against Dindigul Dragons in the second qualifier.

Madurai Panthers failed to progress ahead of the league stage in TNPL 2021. With just 2 wins from 7 games, they finished at the 6th spot in the points table.

With an impressive 5 wins from 7 games, Madurai Panthers finished the league stage at the third spot in the points table in TNPL 2022. However, they could not make it past the playoffs stage. Their campaign ended with a defeat to Lyca Kovai Kings in the Eliminator.

Madurai Panthers' campaign in TNPL 2023 season ended at the playoffs stage. They finished the league stage at the fourth spot in the points table with 4 wins from 7 games. In the playoffs, they bowed out after a loss to Nellai Royal Kings in the Eliminator.

Madurai Panthers had a disappointing campaign in TNPL 2024. They could not progress ahead of the league stage as they finished at the seventh spot with just 2 wins from 7 games.
