If there was one cricket who deserved to be selected in the Indian squad for the series, it was Rahul Tripathi. He has been one of the most consistent uncapped performers in the IPL. Playing for SRH in IPL 2022, he scored over 400 runs and played a number of important innings for the side.

He is the top scorer among all the uncapped players in the IPL. Sunil Gavaskar and Matthew Hayden spoke very vocally about the inclusion of Tripathi after his recent performance in the IPL. Given that he is not selected for the home series, Triapthi’s wait to make his India debut continues.
