IND vs SL: Watch: Ravindra Jadeja Does 'Pushparaj Thaggede Le' Celebration After Dismissing Dinesh Chandimal

Ravindra Jadeja made a comeback in India’s T20I playing XI after two months in the first game against Sri Lanka in Lucknow. He overcame a knee injury and after proper rehabilitation came back into the Indian playing XI.

India scored 199 batting first in the first T20I in Lucknow. Contributions from Rohit Sharma (44), Ishan Kishan (89) and Shreyas Iyer who scored an unbeaten 57 off 28 balls took India to that formidable score after the end of their 20 overs.

Set to chase 200 to win, The Lankans lost a wicket in the very first delivery off their innings. Pathum Nissanka was unlucky to get a ball from Bhuvneshwar Kumar that kept low and hit the stumps.

Ravindra Jadeja was introduced in the eighth over of the Sri Lankan innings. He went for nine runs in his first over with Dinesh Chandimal hitting him for six in the fourth delivery of his first over. He came back in the second over and dismissed Chandinal. The ball pitched on off-stump and turned sharply to miss his bat. Chandimal advanced to play the delivery but was beaten by the bounce and the turn.

Ishan Kishan standing behind the stumps kept his cool head to rip off the bails in a flash. What followed was Ravindra Jadeja doing the viral “Pushpa” celebration that has taken the internet by storm. Cricketers from various countries are making the celebration a trend in the game now.
