Delhi Daredevils looked all set to play their home games at two venues, but it was Ricky Ponting who stopped the franchise from doing so.

As per a report in TOI, it was Ponting who asked Delhi Daredevils’ officials not to look forward to playing their home matches at any other venue.

“Kotla should be Delhi’s den. Everyone should fear to enter it. Delhi should be based out of one home centre,” Ponting told officials, as per TOI.
