The dashing star Indian batter Virat Kohli was seen training ahead of the high-octane clash of Super 4s of India vs Pakistan on Sunday (04th September). In the Group Stage match, India had bamboozled Men in Green and had taken revenge for their ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
Now, Pakistan would be ready to bounce back and make a statement that they are not a finished product. Pakistan Cricket Team would be aware that India won’t be an easy customer given that Virat Kohli & Suryakumar have hit a purple patch.
Indian Cricket Team would be hoping that the skipper Rohit Sharma gets back to form as we all know how ruthless, he can be on any given day. The form of Virat Kohli is an ominous sign for the Men in Green, as he has a history of performing exceptionally well against them. Head Coach Rahul Dravid would want a comprehensive performance from the team apart from close finishes.
Virat Kohli in an Intense Training Session
Virat Kohli is someone who doesn’t compromise on fitness at all. The athletic batter was spotted wearing a sports high-altitude mask and was seen doing sprints and running. Virat knows the importance of running between the wickets and he is quite keen to convert the ones into twos. The batters in T20Is don’t emphasize that much on rotating strikes as the major attention is on clearing the fence.
Now, prior to India’s next game against Pakistan, a video has emerged of Virat sweating it hard in the training. In the video, he can clearly be seen running at high speed with a high-altitude mask to increase his endurance.

Virat Kohli is back to its best
The Star-studded batter was looking in sublime touch against Hong Kong where he scored 59 runs in 44 balls. The batter looked in complete control as he was seen rotating the strike consistently. He was seen striking the ball cleanly and everyone got a glimpse of the old Virat Kohli who used to be ready for any sort of challenge.
Virat though, knows that he didn’t have a convincing outing against Pakistan. Even though, the batter scored 35 runs in 34 balls; he was looking scratchy as there were some close calls and a dropped catch. The batter would be aware that his off-side channel weakness would be targeted once again as Naseem Shah has shown that he can take the ball away from the batter.
