Indian pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel have been excluded from the Indian team???s squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2022, which is set to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the end of this month.
The duo has failed to recover from injuries and will be taking more time off at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for rehabilitation purposes.
While Bumrah has a back injury, something he had suffered in the initial stages of his career, Harshal picked up a side strain during the tour of West Indies and ended up missing the entire T20I series.
