Suryakumar Yadav (1164 Runs In 31 T20Is, Avg-46.56, SR- 187.43)

SKY ended 2022 as the highest scorer in T20Is 2022. He had magical numbers this year with unmatched consistency. He scored 1164 runs including two hundreds and nine fifty-plus scores. He batted with immense ease against any opposition.

His true potential as a t20I cricketer was seen in the T20 World Cup game against South Africa in Perth. On a pitch where every other Indian batsman was troubled by the pace and bounce, Yadav found a way to score runs. He scored 68 off 40 balls taking India to 133 which in the end was not enough.

Virat Kohli (781 Runs In 20 T20Is, Avg- 55.78, SR-138.23)

Kohli ended 2022 with nearly 800 runs in the T20I format. He missed a few games as he took breaks in between. Despite playing just 20 games this year, his average of 55.75 is the best among the top 20 run-getters. In his very first year in international cricket, Arshdeep Singh looked the part and looked set to play long for India. He has already become one of India’s go-to bowlers in the format. He ended the year with 31 wickets, 20 of which came in the T20 World Cup in Australia. He capped off the year with his best figures of 4/34 against the Kiwis in Napier.
