Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube has opened up about the dressing room environment of the Indian team in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Shivan Dube has said that the environment is relaxed and focused.

Team India has been on an unbeaten run in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Rohit Sharma & Co. defeated Ireland by 8 wickets in their first match. Later, they crushed Pakistan by 6 runs in their next match.

Rohit Sharma-led side also defeated USA in their next match by 7 wickets to seal their place in the Super 8 round. However, their final group match against Canada was ruled out due to rain. With 7 points, India topped the group A points table.

Later, in the Super 8 round, the Men-in-Blue also outplayed Afghanistan by 47 runs. They also defeated Bangladesh in their previous game by 50 runs. Hence, the 2007 T20 World Cup champions are yet to face their first defeat in the tournament.

We are relaxed and very much focused: Shivam Dube

During a chat with Star Sports anchor Tanay Tiwary, Shivam Dube revealed that Team India's dressing room environment is relaxed as of now. However, they are also focused on winning their next match.

“It's good. We are relaxed and very much focused. So whenever you are relaxed, and I think it is more important to focus what you have to do. So all of the team, all of the support staff has a goal. But yeah, they are very focused what we have to do next”, they said.

Speaking about his performance in the last game against Bangladesh, Shivam Dube said he just batted with no pressure and enjoyed his match. Dube slammed 34 runs off 24 balls and also etched a crucial 53-run partnership with Hardik Pandya for the 5th wicket.

“Yeah, definitely. I was waiting for one of the knock but last game I could not but this game I got settled and I got the time So there was no pressure", the left-handed batter said.

"I was enjoying. So yeah, I got some success today So there was no pressure. I was enjoying. So yeah, I got some success today So, yeah, I got some success today”, the left-arm seamer further added.

Shivam Dube slammed good knocks in two games

Shivam Dube has played impressive knocks in some games. He slammed an unbeaten 31 runs in a clash against the USA and 34 runs against Bangladesh in the last match. He got out for 10 vs Afghanistan and 3 vs Pakistan. In the opening game against Ireland, he was unbeaten on 0*.

Meanwhile, India will next take on Australia in their final match of the Super 8 round in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The encounter takes place at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia. The date and timing for the match is Monday, June 24 at 8 PM IST.
