England’s limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan has been ruled out of the remaining two T20 International games of the five-match T20 International series against West Indies after sustaining a low-grade quadriceps injury.
England are having a very poor run in the five-match T20I series against West Indies and Morgan’s injury is a big blow to the team. In the first match, England were bowled out for 103 at the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados and they lost the match by 9 wickets. England bounced back and won the 2nd game by 1 run. However, they lost the third match by 20 runs.

Morgan faced some issues in his right quad during the warm-up and the follow-up testing revealed that he has sustained a right thigh muscle injury.
“England men’s captain Eoin Morgan will miss the final two matches of the international Twenty20 series against the West Indies with a low-grade quadriceps injury,” the England and Wales Cricket Board announced on Thursday.
“Morgan sat out the third T20 in Barbados on Wednesday night after he felt pain in his right quad during the warm-up. Follow-up testing revealed he sustained a right thigh muscle injury which, whilst relatively minor, will prevent him from playing further games during the current tour.”
Moeen Ali will be leading the team in the remaining two fixtures and to win the series England must win both the games back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday.
