Tamil Nadu left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore has been unfortunate enough not to get a game for the Chennai Super Kings despite being part of the setup since 2020. R Sai Kishore grabbed the spotlight after his performances in the 2019-20 season of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, emerging as the highest wicket-taker. But the youngster has lavished praises on CSK skipper MS Dhoni, who offers him plenty of inputs.

One of the striking features of Chennai Super Kings’ early days has been handing out opportunities to youngsters, who have proved significant to their dominance. The likes of Ravichandran Ashwin and Subramaniam Badrinath have made the most of their chances during the early days of their IPL career, enabling them to break into the national team. In recent times, Ruturaj Gaikwad has done the same; however, there have not been too many as the Super Kings have often been called the dad’s army.
