Young Indian wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan playfully trolled vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane on Day 3 of the first Test match against the West Indies in Dominica. Ishan Kishan said that West Indies No. 11 batter Jomel Warrican faced more deliveries than Ajinkya Rahane in the recently concluded match.
Ishan Kishan made his debut in the longer format of the game alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal in the series opener. The left-handed batter showcased his lively presence and entertained the fans behind the stumps with humorous remarks, which were captured by the stump mic during the first Test match.

Ishan Kishan was heard trolling Ajinkya Rahane on Day 3 of the match. This happened when West Indies No. 11 Jomel Warrican frustrated the Indian fielders with his unique batting stance and unorthodox shots. The Indian players seemed frustrated when they were unable to take the final wicket.

Warrican scored 18 runs with the help of three boundaries. During this, Ishan Kishan jokingly remarked to Ajinkya Rahane that Warrican had played more balls than him. Rahane appeared surprised and asked for clarification in response to the sledge from his teammate.
“Aap se zyada ball khel gaya yeh, Ajju bhai (He has now played more balls than you),” Kishan said while taking his position. Rahane, who was standing in the slips, asked “Haaa? Kyaa (what)?”.

Ajinkya Rahane’s innings came to an end when he was caught at covers after scoring only 3 runs off 11 balls. Rahane was dismissed while playing an uppish drive-off Kemar Roach’s bowling. On the other hand, Jomel Warrican faced 18 balls before being dismissed by Ravichandran Ashwin.
