England’s 2019 World Cup opener Jason Roy snubs the likes of Rinku Singh, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Tilak Varma to pick Shubman Gill as India’s future batting maestro. Harry Brook lost his form and struggled consistently to score big runs for England in all three formats of the game after a horrendous IPL 2023. Brook was a part of England’s ODI World Cup 2023 squad, but in a total of six matches, he could only manage to score 169 runs. The 24-year-old right-handed batter replaced Jason Roy in the World Cup but failed to make an impact.
