Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik quashed all the reports that suggested that he has parted ways with Sania Mirza. He said that they love each other like always and due to professional commitments of late they have been away from each other.

In the past few months, several reports have suggested that Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza have divorced each other. The rumors arise because the couple of late haven’t posted any pictures with each other on social media and also have not been spotted together during festivals and family gatherings.

Shoaib and Sania weren’t with each other in the Eid and that added more spice to the topic. The cricketer wished all his fans at the festival but like every year he didn’t post a family picture this time around. The former tennis player too hasn’t posted anything with the cricketer but shares a picture with her son.

Shoaib Malik opened up about not being together on Eid with Sania Mirza. He said that her wife is busy with commitments in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and that’s why they didn’t celebrate together. Speaking to Geo News Program ‘Score’, he said:

“Nothing on it. On Eid I would like to say that had we been together it would have been great. But she has got commitments in IPL. She is doing shows in IPL. That’s why we are not together,”

Sania was the mentor of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) and is currently part of the franchise in the IPL as she hosts shows.

“We share love like always,” Shoaib Malik denies the rumors related to his divorce

Shoaib Malik further denied all the rumors related to his divorce. He said that they still love each other but due to professional commitments, they are apart. He said:

“We share love like always. I miss her a lot, that I can say. There are (professional) commitments. But Eid is a day when you miss a lot of the people who are close to you. This is why neither I released a statement nor did she.”

Notably, sources close to the couple recently revealed that they have parted ways and are living separately.
