Pakistan Announce ODI And T20I Squad For West Indies Series

Pakistan National Cricket Team have announced the squad for the upcoming One Day Internationals and T20 Internationals series against West Indies National Cricket Team.

The West Indies tour of Pakistan 2021 is scheduled to begin later this month, from December 13 to December 22. During this period, the teams will play three One Day Internationals games and three T20 Internationals games, and all the matches of the series are set to be played at National Stadium, Karachi.

The first T20I will be played on Monday, December 13, the second T20I on Tuesday, December 14 and the third T20I on Thursday, December 16. The One Day Internationals series will commence from Saturday, December 18, the second One Day Internationals will be played on Monday, December 20 and the third One Day Internationals on Wednesday, December 22.

Pakistan National Cricket Team performed exceptionally well in the recently concluded ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 and won 5 games in the Super 12 stage and were undefeated in the group stage.

However, they lost the semi-final against eventual champions Australia. On the other hand, West Indies National Cricket Team had a poor outcome, and they only won one game in the marquee event.

Meanwhile, after the World Cup, Pakistan locked horns with Bangladesh in the T20I series and won in dominating manner by 3-0, and they have a lot of momentum heading into the home series against the West Indies.
