Adam Gilchrist Becomes First Signing of Fox Network from Channel Nine

Cricket Australia sold their television broadcast rights to Fox Networks, as opposed to their four-decade-long association with Channel Nine Networks. Popular Big Bash League (BBL) commentator, Adam Gilchrist becomes first of the many signings of Fox Networks from Channel Nine.

For next six summers of Australian Cricket, Fox Networks will host all the action Down Under.

Sport has been a major part of my life, as a player and now a commentator, so to join a network that is 100 percent focused on the sport is something I am extremely excited about,” Adam Gilchrist told Fox.

The former world-cup winner further stated he could not wait to join his new family at Fox.

Also, the CEO of Foxtel and Fox Sports, Patrick Delany, hoped the addition of Gilly would set high benchmarks.
