Indian National Cricket team gets massive crowd support wherever they play around the globe as it was in Australia. It was the same in Australia as people turned out in huge numbers to support Virat Kohli & Co. Meanwhile, India scripted history winning their first-ever series Down Under and Bharat Army gave them a grand welcome to the hotel.

However, India bounced back at Melbourne to take an unassailable lead of 2-1 in the Border Gavaskar series. Although they dominated the proceeding in the Sydney, rain prevented them from winning another Test. Electing to bat first, India rode on to big centuries from Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant to post 622 for seven before declaring. The bowlers, who have done an important job so far, once again produced a brilliant effort to back their batsmen. Kuldeep Yadav, who missed the first three Test in Australia, took five wickets to rattle the hosts for 300. Skipper Virat Kohli did enforce a follow-on but the umpires had to call off the play due to bad light, and it didn’t resume thereafter.

The celebrations began soon as they danced their heart out at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The players also posed with the trophy. Virat Kohli while speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony also acknowledged the crowd support.

“Celebrations are going to run long into the night I can assure you. Guys are tired, they’re mentally and physically drained. Now we’ve got no more Test cricket and no more alarms in the morning. Crowds have been outstanding. They’ve never let us feel we are playing away from home. They’ve come in numbers in every stadium,” Kohli said.

However, the celebration continued on the lobby of the Sydney Cricket Ground when the Indian National Cricket team players danced to the tune Bollywood song Mere Desh Ki Dharti. All the players were seen shaking their legs to the song with Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli taking the centre stage. The team also cut the cake and had a great time while celebrating their historic Test series win.
