India vs New Zealand 2019: Hardik Pandya Feels Proud of Elder Brother, Krunal

India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya shared a message for his elder brother, Krunal after the completion of the second T20I. The visitors were able to level in the ongoing T20I series after winning the second match by seven wickets. Krunal Pandya played a key role in India’s triumph as the southpaw spinner scalped three wickets.
The elder Pandya was instrumental in restricting the hosts to a paltry score of 158 runs. The left-arm spinner gave away only 28 runs in his four overs quota as he bowled accurately during his spell. Consequently, Krunal Pandya was adjudged the Man of the match.
Krunal comes up with good performance.
In fact, there were doubts over Krunal Pandya’s place in the playing XI of the second match. Kuldeep Yadav was expected to come in place of the all-rounder. However, the Baroda all-rounder was able to prove his mettle in the side after Rohit Sharma retained the faith in him.
On the other hand, Hardik Pandya was able to scalp the pivotal wicket of Colin de Grandhomme when the right-hander was looking ominous. Hence, the junior Pandya was awarded the Turning point of the match award.
Meanwhile, India’s stand-in captain Rohit Sharma scored a blistering knock of 50 runs off just 29 balls. In fact, Rohit Sharma also became the leading run-getter in the T20I format as he surpassed the tally of Martin Guptill.
Shikhar Dhawan gave good support to his captain and the Indian openers added 79 runs for opening stand – to give a perfect platform to their side.
Rishabh Pant provided the finishing touches to the run-chase as the southpaw batsman scored 40 runs from 28 balls. Furthermore, MS Dhoni chipped in with 20 runs. Moreover, Khaleel Ahmed scalped two wickets for the tourists.
