Zimbabwe great Brendan Taylor, on Monday, revealed his all time Indian Premier League (IPL) XI. In an exclusive interview with Cricket Addictor, the right-handed batsman revealed his star-studded side. Brendan Taylor, nonetheless, was one of the few Zimbabwe players who made it to the IPL.

In 2014, Sunrisers Hyderabad signed him but he did not get the chance to prove himself and has not been picked by any team since then. But the Zimbabwe star has proven himself in international cricket and is a popular name in the world of cricket.

Coming to his IPL side, he named a star-studded team but missed some notable names like Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina. Brendan Taylor started by naming Chris Gayle and Virender Sehwag as the two openers of the side. Gayle is the most decorated opener in the history of the tournament, having scored more than 4,000 runs with the help of 6 tons and 28 fifties. Sehwag, on the other hand, has scored over 2,700 runs with the help of two hundreds and 16 fifties.

For the number four spot, he went for South African legend AB de Villiers who has scored 4,395 runs with the help of three centuries and 33 fifties.

At number five, the 34-year old went for Yuvraj Singh. The former India batsman scored more than 2,700 runs in the IPL and helped Sunrisers Hyderabad win the title in 2017. He also led Kings XI Punjab during his illustrious career. MS Dhoni was the next name in the team.
