It was one of the horrible days for the bowlers on Day 3 of the Test match at Barbados between Windies and England. After seeing dramatic collapses in an initial couple of days in the Test match, the third day of the game hasn’t seen a single wicket being taken by the bowlers with almost over 300 runs being scored. Jason Holder was the chief run-scorer with a double century to his name. Meanwhile, Ravichandran Ashwin takes his time to hail Windies star.
Jason Holder has been one of the consistent performers for Windies over the years. He is one of the few to be committed to Windies cricket rather than making money out of playing for the franchises across the globe. Meanwhile, his double century speaks volumes of his character.

After knocking a stunning double century, the Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin took to Twitter hailing Jason Holder. He called him the star and expressed his happiness to witness such a stunning and gripping Test match at Barbados.
Digging into his tweet for Jason Holder, it read ”What a test match in the Caribbean, well played
@Jaseholder98. You are a star. #WivsEng.

Coming to the match, it was Windies, who are on top of the game. Initially, they won the toss and asked the visitors to bowl first. The half-centuries from Shai Hope, Roston Chase and Shimron Hetmyer helped them to post 289 runs on the board. James Anderson finished with 5-for while Ben Stokes bagged 4 wickets.

In reply, England displayed one of their worst batting displays in the Test cricket. They have been folded out for just 77 runs on the board, Courtesy Kemar Roach. His 5/17 saw England conceding a massive lead for the hosts.
Then it was the turn of England bowlers, who sent Windies top 5 batsmen for just 61 runs on the board. But, then came the massive unbeaten 295-run partnership between Jason Holder and Shane Dowrich to put a 628-run target for England. In reply to chase, they scored 56/0, at the end of Day 3 stumps.
