The all-rounder has been chosen as the first-choice spin-bowling all-rounder for team India. However, if the reserve players are added, CSK has contributed a total of 3 players to the Indian team.

Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar have been named the travelling reserves for team India alongside Shreyas Iyer. CSK has been one of the most-decorated IPL franchises of all time with 3 titles in its bag and the most wins in terms of the number of games played in the tournament.

From KKR, only 1 player could make the cut in the Indian squad for the ICC T20 World Cup and he is none other than the mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy. The young spinner who hails from Tamil Nadu has been one of the biggest bowling revelations in Indian cricket in the last couple of years.

Varun Chakravarthy dismissed MS Dhoni twice in IPL 2020 and it will surely be one of the highlights of his career. However, he hasn’t been able to showcase his true might in the Indian colours so far and the mystery spinner would certainly like to change that going into the T20 World Cup 2021.

RCB has so far failed to win an IPL trophy ever since the inception of the tournament. However, they have had one of the strongest squads year after year going into the IPL.
