The captain of the Australia National Cricket Team Aaron Finch has said that he is not at all concerned about the form of batsman Steve Smith ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 final clash against Kane Williamson-led New Zealand National Cricket Team.
After a terrific performance in the Super 12 and semi-final stage, Australia and New Zealand reached the final of the marquee event now they will lock horns at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the summit clash on Sunday, November 14.

In a pre-match press conference, Aaron Finch said that Smith is a world-class player and has shown how valuable he is for the team in the big matches. He said:
“No, not concerned one bit about his form. He’s a world-class player and he’s someone in big games who has shown how valuable he is. He’s been hitting the ball as well as I’ve seen for a long time, so no, no concerns there whatsoever.”

The Australian captain further added that both New Zealand and Australia have a great history and every time they play the battles are great. Aaron Finch asserted:
“I think both teams have got a great history in cricket-well, not just cricket, but as neighbours, so to speak, Down Under. It’s a great relationship. We play quite a bit against New Zealand now and we always have great battles regardless of the format,”
Finch expressed his excitement to play against New Zealand in the summit clash and said:
“It’s bloody exciting to be playing against New Zealand. They are a great team and led super by Kane Williamson. So it’s just one of those things that both teams seem to have found their way into each other’s path along the way in some tournaments. So, yeah, it’s really exciting,”
